Riace

Support
The Gaia Festival is officially sponsored by the Region of Calabria. The event actually touches two regions, Calabria and Basilicata, so we are working to secure the sponsorship of Basilicata as well. Local mayors and authorities are on board. Our fiscal sponsor is Transumanza, a nonprofit that will operate cultural and natural hiking excursions throughout the week.

Message from the GAIA Festival Organizers
All of us here with the GAIA International Festival for the Future of the Sea and the Earth have been working hard on the programming and logistical planning for this one-of-a-kind event occurring the 19th-27th of June 2010. It has been challenging, gratifying, and inspiring to work with talented and devoted people from across the world in the application of bold ideas, the mobilization of collective positive energy, and the exertion of much-needed leadership in very uncertain times.
